Shipping & Delivery Policy

Couch.Co delivers furniture within South Africa using our own delivery team or selected furniture transport and courier partners. We do not currently offer international delivery through this website.

ORDER PROCESSING AND PRODUCTION

In-stock items are prepared after payment and order confirmation. Most core and made-to-order furniture has an estimated production lead time of 3–4 weeks. Custom designs, fabrics, sizes, high order volumes and material availability may extend this estimate. We will communicate a revised estimate if a material delay occurs.

SHIPPING METHODS, COSTS AND ESTIMATES

Furniture is delivered by an appropriate courier or furniture-delivery vehicle. A standard flat delivery charge of R750 applies throughout South Africa. Your total order price, including delivery, will be shown or confirmed before payment.

Delivery transit begins after production or order processing is complete. Delivery timing varies by destination and carrier. The 3–4 week production lead time is separate from transport time unless we confirm otherwise in writing.

DELIVERY UPDATES AND TRACKING

We send delivery updates by email, telephone or WhatsApp. Where a third-party carrier provides a tracking number, it will be shared with you. Large furniture deliveries may instead be scheduled directly with you.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

Please provide a complete delivery address and working contact details. Before ordering, measure doorways, staircases, lifts and access routes. Ensure that an adult is available to receive and inspect the order. Reasonable redelivery or storage charges may apply if delivery fails because details are incorrect, access is unsuitable or nobody is available.

DAMAGE, DELAY OR NON-DELIVERY

Inspect the order on arrival and record visible damage or missing items with the delivery team. Contact us promptly with your order number and photographs. We will investigate delayed or missing deliveries and arrange an appropriate remedy where required. Nothing in this policy limits rights under South African consumer law.

Returns & Refunds Policy

This policy applies to purchases from Lehakoe Holdings Div (Pty) Ltd, trading as Couch.Co. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under South African consumer law.

ONLINE COOLING-OFF PERIOD

Where the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act applies, you may cancel an eligible online purchase within seven days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason or paying a penalty. You are responsible only for the direct cost of returning the goods. A refund due under this right will be processed within 30 days of cancellation.

CUSTOM AND MADE-TO-ORDER FURNITURE

Furniture made, altered or upholstered to your specifications—including custom sizes, fabrics, colours and personalised designs—cannot be returned merely because you changed your mind. This does not affect your rights if the item is defective, unsafe or materially different from the approved order.

DEFECTIVE, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT GOODS

Please inspect your furniture promptly and contact us as soon as possible with your order number, photographs and a description of the issue. Goods that are unsafe, defective or do not meet the standards required by the Consumer Protection Act may be returned within six months of delivery. You may choose a repair, replacement or refund where the Act permits. Normal wear, misuse, neglect, unauthorised alterations and damage after delivery are not product defects.

RETURN PROCESS

For an eligible change-of-mind return, the item must be unused and returned with its original packaging and accessories where reasonably possible. Contact Couch.Co before returning large furniture so that collection or return arrangements can be confirmed. Once an authorised return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method. Payment-provider processing times may apply.

These terms govern use of this website and purchases from Lehakoe Holdings Div (Pty) Ltd, trading as Couch.Co. By placing an order, you confirm that you can enter into a binding agreement and accept these terms.

PRODUCTS AND CUSTOM ORDERS

We aim to display descriptions, dimensions and colours accurately. Screen settings, natural materials and manufacturing batches may cause reasonable variations. Customers must confirm measurements, access routes, fabric choices and custom specifications before ordering. A custom order enters production after specifications and any required deposit are confirmed.

PRICES AND PAYMENT

Prices are shown in South African rand and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Delivery, assembly and other charges are displayed or agreed separately. Orders are accepted after payment is authorised and Couch.Co confirms the order. We may correct an obvious pricing or description error before dispatch and will offer cancellation and a refund if you do not accept the correction.

AVAILABILITY AND DELIVERY

We may decline or cancel an order if stock or materials are unavailable, payment cannot be verified, delivery is impracticable or fraud is suspected. If we cancel after payment, we will refund the affected amount. Production and delivery estimates are given in good faith. You must provide accurate delivery details and ensure safe access. Additional reasonable charges may apply to failed deliveries caused by incorrect information, restricted access or nobody being available to receive the order.

CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS AND WARRANTIES

Cancellations and returns are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable South African law. Statutory warranties and remedies are not excluded. Custom goods may not qualify for a change-of-mind return, but legal remedies remain available for defective or non-conforming goods.

WEBSITE USE AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

You may use this website only for lawful shopping. Couch.Co content, branding, photographs and designs may not be copied, republished or commercially exploited without permission. Customer-submitted designs must not infringe another person's rights.

LIABILITY, PRIVACY AND LAW

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Couch.Co is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from website use, delivery delay or misuse of goods. This does not exclude liability or consumer remedies that cannot legally be excluded. Personal information is used to process orders, arrange delivery, provide support, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
